Terminal Handshake (THS) is part of music label AOsmosis Records (AO) which is located in Lahnstein, Germany. THS is administered as a ‘remote isle,’ independent from AO’s web presence and store, without social-media connections, and only accessible by admission to the dedicated mailing list.

Releases

THS has its focus on works that interweave musical genres; at which collaborative creations are specifically welcome.

Compared to most releaseses of AO those of Terminal Handshake are more serial in nature, while nonetheless THS provides special approaches towards each work’s presentation.

Runs are around a 100 numbered copies per release – at times followed by an unnumbered, second edition.

When subscribing you instantly receive a custom access link to this website by e-mail.

The list itself is used in the rare occassion of a new release becoming available (max. 3/year). Any other announcements (e.g. pre-orders) are not to be expected. (Should this policy change someday subscribers are timely informed.) The option to immediately unsubscribe (from mailing list & website) is provided with every message.

Privacy

Our mailing list is administered via Mailchimp. Access to the full THS website is maintained via a single cookie, that expires per logout or closing of the browser. Purchases are made possible via ebedded (but non-tracking) PayPal buttons. Besides that the website incorporates third-party services (like Google Fonts) only as local files. Audio streaming is made available merely through links towards Soundcloud. Download codes are redeemable at Bandcamp.
